  • Sunny & Hot Sunday; Developing Late Day Storms

    The heat continues on Sunday with high temps reaching the upper 80's and low 90's under mostly sunny skies.  Seabreeze storms will develop after 2 pm mainly for areas east of I-75.
  • Hot & humid today

    It will feel like summer in May today. Do't look for much rain to cool you off however.  A few inland storms could pop up after 2 pm around Plant City, Winter Haven or Seabring, however not much is expected in Tampa.  The beaches will be clear as the sea breeze rushes inland.   Highs will top out at 90 but coastal spots will reach the mid 80s.
  • Hot & humid weekend

    We are expecting a hot weekend with high's in the upper 80's and just a slight chance of rain Saturday. A bit more moisture will make it feel more humid over the next few days and this will help spawn a couple storms east of I-75 Saturday and Sunday.  By Sunday and Monday the late day storms may move back to the coast. Storms will become more like clockwork next week with temps continuing in the mid to upper 80's.

    The humidity has made a comeback and temperatures stay warm the next several days.  Highs will be in the upper 80's and it will feel like summer but without the steady afternoon storms.  Over the weekend we could begin to see a few afternoon storms especially by Sunday. Until then we will bake with warm and humid weather.
